Clementi, a freshman at Rutgers University, has committed death following the terrible discovery that fellow students violated his privacy by transmitting private homosexual acts live on the Web via iChat, writes ABC News. Dharun Ravi and Wei are under suspicion for sending live video of Tyler Clementi in a gay act without Clementi’s permission or knowledge. Soon after his horrific online outing, Clementi signed off on Facebook and signed out of life by jumping off a bridge.

September 22 was when everyone got their goodbye from Clementi on his Facebook. He updated his status to say, “Jumping off the gw bridge sorry,” at 8:42 p.m. The body of Clementi hasn’t been discovered yet, but there was a body discovered just north of the bridge on the Hudson River. New Jersey authorities were the ones to discover the body. Near there was a wallet with the driver’s license and a Rutgers University student ID that belonged to Clementi.
Clementi was recognized for how good he is with music along with his great personality in a statement that the Clementi family attorney, Paul Mainardi put out confirming his suicide.

Fellow Rutgers Scarlet Knights Dharun Ravi and Molly Wei are charged with 2 counts apiece of invasion of privacy for broadcasting Tyler Clementi’s homosexual encounter via iChat, according to prosecutor Kaplan. On September 19, Ravi tweeted a remark expressing:
“Roommate asked for the room till midnight. I went into molly’s room and turned on my webcam. I saw him making out with a dude. Yay.”
Two days after the first broadcast, Ravi tweeted again:
“Anyone with iChat, I dare you to video chat me between the hours of 9:30 and 12. Yes it’s happening again.”

Ravi and Wei both turned themselves in to the brand new Jersey police. Neither remains in police custody anymore though. ABC News reports that Ravi had to shell out a $25,000 bail although Molly Wei just paid her own recognizance. The investigation will continue leaving a lot more info to be found.
