The Blackpad is, in short, an iPad competitor. Rather than a stylus, the Blackpad will take touches. The Blackpad hardware most likely will not create an appearance at the Blackberry developer conference. RIM almost certainly plans to discuss the main points of the Blackpad, though. At seven inches, the Blackpad screen will be concerning the same size as the iPad. For video conferencing use, Blackpad will consist of two cameras — one on the front and one on the back. The biggest news is that Blackberry is developing a new operating system just for the Blackpad. The price is also a large question.
